Had a problem with the kitchen door (uPVC) locking mechanism, which had failed and had resulted in the door remaining locked despite the key turning in the lock.

SF came out within a few days as agreed and was on time (actually came slightly earlier than anticipated in the morning). SF had sorted the problem by changing the mechanism and also changing the barrel case that had been bent out of shape over the years, potentially with the door being misaligned, which may have caused the issue.

All was done, and the door was back to perfect working order within 20 minutes or so. Whilst paying for a kitchen door to be fixed just before Christmas isn’t ideal, the price Stephen charged for coming out and fixing was very reasonable and I thought a fair price. Wouldn’t hesitate to use SF’s services again if necessary, although obviously I hope I don’t need to!
